Hospice Services Offered
- Hospice Nurses – providing individualized care and symptom management to the patient and support to the patient and family during the terminal illness. A Hospice Nurse is available 24 hour a day for any care needs.
- Physician – Hospice works with the patient’s physician of choice in providing the best possible care for the patient. The Hospice physician is also available for consultation and care.
- Hospice Aides – to provide personal care and light housekeeping under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Professional Counselors – Social Workers, Chaplains, and Dietary counselors are available to the patient and family to assist with psychosocial, emotional, financial, spiritual and dietary needs. The counselors’ commitment to the family continues into their time of bereavement.
- Hospice Volunteers – trained Hospice Volunteers provide support for the patient and the family. Volunteers may provide companionship, sitter services, errands, and various other duties to assist with the care of the patient and family.
